Therapeutic yoga can be integrated into any therapeutic relationship or treatment. Therapeutic yoga may be for you if you want something more than traditional talk therapy can offer. You may find therapeutic yoga supportive if you’re looking for ways to incorporate gentle movement back into your life, especially if it’s been off the table for any number of reasons.
My approach to yoga is not about performing or perfecting. Instead, it’s about reconnecting with your body, cultivating presence, and feeling more alive. Drawing on my background in trauma therapy and eating disorder treatment, I can support you in gently reintegrating movement into your life.

Why Yoga?
I started practicing yoga in 2012 while in college. I was a dancer for most of my life and I found yoga out of a desire to continue moving my body. My yoga practice immediately impacted my daily well-being in ways I couldn’t describe. I am still without words at times when I feel the impact of a practice.
I see the intangible and tangible benefits yoga can have in healing. My personal healing work accelerated once I incorporated yoga with traditional talk therapy. Yoga doesn’t need to be the thing for everyone, but I found enormous value in the mindful, spiritual, somatic connections to therapy. I return to the tenets of my yoga practice - both physical and otherwise - regularly when I need support.
Where were you trained?
I was trained in a 200-hour course put on by Three Queens Yoga in Queen Village, Philadelphia, PA.
What style of yoga do you teach?
I teach alignment-based hatha yoga. This means I place an emphasis on proper alignment and use of supports like props.
