Grief and Loss Counseling and Therapy in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It doesn’t look the same from one person to the next.
Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a version of your life, or something harder to name, your experience is uniquely your own.
And in a world that often expects you to “move on” or “be okay” too quickly, it can feel incredibly isolating.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Your Grief is Personal
There is no “right” way to grieve.
You might feel overwhelmed by emotion one moment and completely numb the next. You might find yourself revisiting memories, questioning things you wish had been different, or struggling with the way life continues moving forward.
Grief can show up as:
-
sadness, anger, guilt, or confusion
-
physical exhaustion or heaviness in the body
-
difficulty concentrating or feeling present
-
a sense that the world doesn’t quite feel the same anymore
However it’s showing up for you, it deserves space, care, and understanding.
The Intersection of Grief and Trauma
Grief and trauma are often deeply intertwined.
Sometimes a loss is sudden, unexpected, or overwhelming to process. Other times, grief can bring up earlier experiences such as past losses, attachment wounds, or moments where you didn’t feel safe or supported.
Because of this, I approach grief through a trauma-informed lens.
This means we move at your pace, paying attention not just to your thoughts and emotions, but to how your nervous system is holding the experience. Together, we gently create space for what’s there, without forcing, rushing, or overwhelming the process.
Healing from grief isn’t about “getting over it.” It’s about learning how to be with your loss in a way that feels more integrated, supported, and sustainable.
You Don't Have to Do This Alone
Grief can feel incredibly lonely, but it doesn’t have to be something you carry by yourself.
A safe, supportive therapy relationship can make all the difference.
In our work together, my intention is to create a space where you can:
-
feel seen and understood in your experience
-
move through emotions at your own pace
-
reconnect with your body and a sense of grounding
-
begin to make meaning in a way that feels true to you
There is no pressure to be in a certain place. Just space to show up exactly as you are.
If you’re navigating grief and looking for support, you’re not alone in this.
